The nine teams selected for the Startup SuperNova accelerator, run by Klak stýrir, participated in a workshop at the Innovation Fund today, September 2
The teams received a presentation on the Kría Innovation Fund from Edda Lára Lúðvígsdóttir, Investment Manager of Fund Investments. Following her talk, lawyer Ingvar Ásmundsson from Juris led a workshop for the group. They then headed up to the next floor, where the staff of Frumtak warmly welcomed them and introduced their fund. ext on the agenda was a Founders Lunch, where Finnur Pind, founder of Treble shared his experience. Later, Ragnheiður H. Magnúsdóttir from Nordic Ignite joined to discuss angel investing with the group, and finally, Dale Shepard from Trinity Hawk gave an overview of marketing strategies.
Startup SuperNova is a joint initiative of KLAK – Icelandic Startups, Nova og Huawei aiming to develop business solutions for international markets. The accelerator began on August 5 and will conclude with an Investor Day on September 19.
