
The New Business Venture Fund Kría, KLAK – Icelandic Startups, Rannís and Framvís are hosting the event The Startup Ecosystem and Europe: Opportunities and Challenges, taking place in the main hall at Gróska on Monday, 17 August, from 16:00–18:00.
The aim of the event is to provide a balanced discussion on how Iceland’s potential membership of the European Union could affect the country’s startup and innovation ecosystem. Topics will include opportunities related to funding and grants, access for Icelandic companies to European markets and partnerships, the regulatory environment, and the challenges that changes to the operating environment could present for Icelandic startups and innovation companies.
To explore the issue from different perspectives, the event brings together experts, entrepreneurs and investors with diverse experience from across the innovation ecosystem.
