Each year, the Financial Times, in collaboration with Statista, conducts an analyses of thousands of innovation hubs accross Europe but only 180 hubs earn a place on the list.

This is a clear validation of the quality of the services KLAK provides to entrepreneurs and startups in Iceland, and it also shows that the Icelandic innovation ecosystem stands comparison with the very best internationally,” says Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir, CEO of KLAK – Icelandic Startups.
In selecting Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs, consideration is given to reviews from former participants in accelerator programs, evaluations by experts such as investors, entrepreneurs, and academics, as well as the performance of the most promising startups that have gone through the respective hub.
