Keeps joins the portfolio of the New Business Venture Fund Kría

The startup company Keeps has now officially become part of the New Business Venture Fund Kria's portfolio. Kría has invested in teh compnay in addition to converting a loan into equity. The fund’s first involvement with Keeps was through the Frumsjóður initiative in 2023, when investments were made in nine companies via convertible loans. Keeps develops a software solution that enables tourism operators to manage all their images and text in one place and distribute them from there to major sales platforms.

Keeps was founded in 2023 by Guðrún Hildur Ragnarsdóttir and Nína Louise Auðardóttir. The company’s solutions focus on simplifying workflows related to content management and the distribution of marketing materials. Currently, tourism providers update images and information manually on each sales platform, such as Expedia, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor. This process is very time-consuming, often resulting in neglected marketing efforts, which in turn affects sales and visibility. With Keeps, these processes become automated—saving time, increasing sales, and supporting sustainability. Keeps is currently working intensively on adding new features to the system. Soon, users will be able to schedule images for publication—for example, ensuring that Northern Lights photos appear during the appropriate sales season and are removed for the summer. Additionally, it will soon be possible to identify inconsistencies in information and images across different sales platforms.

We warmly welcome Keeps to the portfolio of the Kría Innovation Fund.
