Arion banki invites guests to an educational event on financing and growth for innovative companies on Thursday, 3 September at 17:00 at Borgartún 19.
The event, titled Everything for the CFO – The Path to Becoming a Creditworthy Innovation Company, is aimed at founders, CFOs and others involved in running start-ups and rapidly growing companies. Anyone interested in the future of innovation in Iceland is also encouraged to attend, learn and take part in the discussions.
This time, the focus will be on the financing options available to innovative companies and how banks can support their growth.
Jarþrúður Ásmundardóttir will discuss EIF financing, cash flow loans and how the bank assesses the creditworthiness of start-ups. Arion Bank will also present solutions designed to simplify the work of CFOs and support companies in their day-to-day operations.
The programme will also include an engaging discussion with experienced members of Iceland’s start-up ecosystem, who will share their experiences of running and financing companies – including both successes and the challenges involved in building and growing a business.

Following the formal programme, specialists from Arion Bank’s Corporate Banking division will be available for one-on-one conversations and advice.
Doors open at 16:30, with light refreshments and drinks served before the programme begins at 17:00.
