Kara Connect is a secure digital workspace for professionals in the health and welfare sectors, providing a technology solution for remote specialist services. With Kara Connect, professionals can meet with their clients through an online platform. Traditionally, therapy and specialist sessions, have only been possible through scheduled, in-person appointments at a fixed location. Kara Connect changes this by enabling more flexible care, allowing specialists to support their clients via video calls, live chat, or face-to-face meetings. Kara Connect was founded by Þorbjörg Helga Vigfúsdóttir.
