Humble

Humble is an Icelandic marketplace that helps businesses sell surplus food and products that would otherwise go to waste. Through the Humble app, consumers can discover discounted surprise bags and products from local bakeries, restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and specialty food retailers. For businesses, Humble creates additional revenue from surplus inventory, attracts new customers, and helps reduce waste. For consumers, the platform offers quality products at significantly reduced prices while encouraging more sustainable consumption. Since launching in 2023, Humble has grown to more than 40,000 users and over 125 participating businesses across Iceland. Together, the community has helped save tens of thousands of kilograms of food, reduced unnecessary waste, and created meaningful value for both businesses and consumers. By connecting businesses with local consumers, Humble makes it easier to turn surplus into opportunity.
