Laila is responsible for marketing and communications at The New Business Venture Fund Kría.
She is the owner of the marketing agency Laila slf. Prior to this, she served as Marketing Director at TM Software (now Origo), the Icelandic Cancer Society, and Dohop.
Among the projects she has managed are University Day (Háskóladagurinn), Framadagar for Reykjavík University, executive management of Framvís, marketing campaigns for Kraftur, project management of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Innovation Accelerator, the operations and marketing of Ribsafari, and marketing and communications for Mímir Lifelong Learning.
In addition, she has overseen the development and launch of a variety of websites, including those for Lambhagi, Héðinn, Brautarholt Golf Club, and others. She has also managed a wide range of events and produced content for numerous marketing and communications materials.
Laila holds a B.A. degree in Icelandic and German from the University of Iceland, an M.Sc. degree in Marketing and International Business from the University of Iceland, and an M.A. degree in Journalism from the University of the Arts London.
