Róbert is the Head of the Economics and Analysis Division at the Icelandic Confederation of Labour (ASÍ). He graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Economics from Lund University in 2012. Róbert has worked on a wide range of projects within the labour movement, including providing advice in collective bargaining, analyzing economic, tax, employment, and labour market issues, as well as participating in international cooperation within the labour movement. He has also served on the Science and Technology Council (I. Vísinda- og tækniráð) since 2013.
