Nýsköpunarsjóðurinn Kría, Rannís, Hugverkastofan and Íslandsstofa invite you to the Innovation Congress 2025, taking place at Gróska on October 30th, from 14:00 to 15:30.
The Icelandic Innovation Awards 2025 will be presented at the event.
What does Iceland have to offer in innovation on the international stage, and how can unexpected developments in global affairs affect the progress of Icelandic innovation companies abroad?
Icelandic innovation companies face various obstacles on their journey into foreign markets. Gaining a foothold in a new market can prove more complex than expected, and unexpected shifts in international relations can have unforeseen consequences. How does the evolution of global affairs impact Icelandic innovation companies and their future — and can they, in some way, protect themselves or even create new opportunities?
In this context, it is especially relevant to consider the United States and the impact that increased import tariffs may have on Icelandic innovation companies.
At the conclusion of the event, Daði Már Kristófersson, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, will present the Icelandic Innovation Awards 2025.
