Hefring is among 15 companies selected to advance to the next stage of the NATO DIANA technology accelerator programme. More than 3,600 proposals were submitted to the accelerator, with 150 innovators participating in the earlier stages of the programme.
According to an announcement from Hefring, published by Morgunblaðið, this milestone brings the company one step closer to having its vessel monitoring solution adopted by the fleets of NATO member countries.
The 15 solutions selected for the final stage of the accelerator will receive up to €300,000 in funding from NATO. Testing and trials have demonstrated that these projects are well aligned with the Alliance’s needs.
Hefring Marine has been part of the portfolio of The New Business Venture Fund Kría since 2019, and we warmly congratulate the team on this achievement.
