Dohop develops and operates a website that helps consumers worldwide to find cheap flights and connections between them, whether with low-cost airlines or not. Today, the website attracts visitors from most countries around the world, as it is available in 26 languages, and it has over 1 million visitors each month. Dohop has established advertising agreements with hundreds of airlines and travel agencies, and in addition through its affiliate program Dohop sells its flight search technology to airlines and airports for use on their own website. On Dohop’s website, users can also find hotel and car rental search engines, provided in partnership with international companies. The technology behind the website is robust and can easily handle many more visitors. Over the past years, greater emphasis has therefore been placed on sales and marketing efforts. Dohop was founded by Frosti Sigurjónsson.
